Swedbank Robur Technology selected in the Swedish Fund Selection Agency’s procurement process
“Swedbank Robur Technology being selected once again amid strong national and international competition is a significant vote of confidence in both the fund and our asset management. We have been part of the premium pension system since its inception and are very proud to continue managing capital on behalf of hundreds of thousands of pension savers. The technology sector is undergoing major structural changes, particularly in AI and digitalisation. For many years, the fund has provided investors with an opportunity to participate in this development, and we now look forward to continuing to do so for many years to come,” says Liza Jonson, CEO of Swedbank Robur.
Swedbank Robur Technology is managed by an investment team led by Christian Blink and has more than 300,000 investors. It is the most widely selected fund on the premium pension fund platform (excluding AP7 Såfa). The fund has returned almost 40 percent year-to-date (39,98%).
The premium pension system was introduced in 1999 and allows individuals to select funds themselves for a portion of their national public pension. The Swedish Fund Selection Agency is responsible for procurement for the fund platform, where funds are reviewed and evaluated against established requirements. Swedbank Robur has been part of the premium pension system since its inception. Approximately 30 percent of the assets on the selectable fund platform have previously been invested in one of Swedbank Robur’s funds.
